Debora's new inspirational CD...

Debora Jakola & o.f.s. is comprised of husband and wife team Bruce and Debora Jakola. Together they have toured throughout the western United States performing at auditoriums, coffee houses, open-air events and festivals, prisons, television, radio, and the Air Force Academy. Most recently they have performed at Sisters Folk Festival, Sisters, Oregon, Summer Fest 2001, Albany, Oregon, and Homegrown 4th of July in the Park, Bend, Oregon, at each of these events attendance was several thousand.
Their first recording release "Hope For Tomorrow" on their own independent label sold over 5,000 copies. They have recently released a new CD of all original music comprised of Bruce and Debora and the band “On Foreign Soil” which the CD is titled as well. This CD from MOSL records is receiving current airplay on numerous stations across the U.S. Also, the song “10,000 Words” was recently released onto a compilation CD featured with other noted artists such as Greg Allman which will raise funds for saving the historic Tower Theatre in their local city. Debora’s lyrics hold a message of empathy dealing with issues such as violence, suicide, abuse, and homelessness as sung in “Pure Religion” which is currently receiving air play. Bruce and Debora tour throughout the pacific northwest region.

Music Video in Loving Memory of Ron Sanford (Video Productions)

Bruce and Debora were given the performance award in Christian Artist’s International Showcase in Seattle, WA. They also produced their own music video titled “Mommy Please Don’t Drink” dealing with fetal alcohol syndrome and substance abuse and composed the original song for the video. This was distributed to both middle and high schools across the nation under a federal government grant.
